Seeing & Celebrating Each Other | #TDOV

There is no liberation without community. And to build community, we must see each other. This March, TKO strengthened its community by expanding it with two support groups. The G.E.N.T.S. “Find Your Tribe” brunch featured guest speaker & Florida activist-organizer JaBari Harris, for a day of brotherhood and connections for transmasculine folks, cis gay men and MSM; while DIVA 2 DIVA launched a space for sisterhood, self-development and service for transfeminine and feminine presenting individuals.

We also enjoyed being amongst community during the #TDOV celebration with Montgomery Pride United. On that day, and every day, we remember that our freedom of self-expression encourages others to be free. May we become the shoulders upon which future generations of trans people stand.
